Meet the 'Ohana
Michelle

Michelle is a passionate and accomplished cheerleading coach with experience coaching at the elementary, middle school, and high school scholastic levels, and at the Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior, Senior, Open and Coed All Star Novice, Prep, and Elite competitive cheerleading levels 1- 7 since 2009. She was also honored to serve as a Board Member of the Wisconsin Association of Cheer & Pom Coaches from 2018 - 2022.
She has taken her teams to TSN Bahama Royale (2022 & 2023), UCA All Star Nationals (2024 Open Level 7 National Champion, 2021 Senior Elite Level 4.2 2nd Place Silver Medalist), WACPC State (2020 MS/Rec Game Day 2nd Place), 2019 Varsity Non Tumble 1st Place, 2018 Varsity Non Tumble 3rd Place, 2018 Middle School/Rec Gameday 1st Place, 2017 Middle School/Rec 3rd Place), the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship (2020 Recreational Game Day 7th Place; 2019 Varsity Non Tumble Game Day 9th Place; 2015, 2016, and 2018 Senior Recreational/Club 7th, 6th & 7th Place), the ICU World School Cheerleading Championship (2016 4th Place), Varsity D2 Summit (2018), and US Finals (2020).
What Michelle takes the greatest pleasure in as a coach is helping her athletes to grow and mature not just as an athlete, but also as empowered, kind, respectful, and hardworking leaders in their community. She has two children, Nicholas and Meghan, a daughter-in-law Sarah, and four grandchildren, Wolfgang, Alice, Owen, and Gwendolyn. Rounding out the 'ohana are chihuahua Sir Carson the Great and golden retriever Bear the Destroyer of all things Stuffed.
As a cancer survivor, family is what matters most to Michelle. When she is not coaching or with her ‘ohana, she loves being outdoors on Lake Michigan as it reminds her of her childhood home in Hawai’i.

Meghan is an accomplished cheerleader, Coach, and Choreographer. Meghan received her Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction in Retail Merchandising with a minor in Sustainability from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in May 2023. She also served as the 2021 Director of Marketing for the Chi Omega Pi Beta Sorority, and was a member of the 2020-21 Gopher All Girl Cheer Team.
Meghan studied at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for the 2019-20 school year, where she was a member of the Panther Cheer Team, and member of the Panther NCA College Nationals Cheer Team. Meghan is a 2019 Summa Cum Laude Honors Graduate of Brookfield Central High School. She was a four-year member of the BCHS Varsity Cheer Team, and Co-Captain in her Junior and Senior year. She is a three-time UCA All American Cheerleader and a two time NCA All American Cheerleader. She is also a WACPC 2019 All State Finalist, a WACPC 2019 Scholarship Award Winner, WACPC 2019 Sportsmanship Award Winner, and WACPC 2019 State Champion. She has competed five times at the UCA Nationals High School Cheerleading Championship, and her teams were National Finalists three of the five years.
In addition to coaching with 'Ohana Athletics, Meghan is an accomplished Game Day choreographer, and has choreographed routines for some of the best high school cheer teams across the State of Wisconsin, with State Champion and Top 3 placements for several teams in 2020, 2021, and 2022. She has previously held positions as a UCA staff member, Pre-School class instructor with Elite Tumbling, and team coach and class instructor with Heat Athletics.

Top Dog, Chief Comforter, and Hijinx Coordinator
Loved by all who meet him, Bear is 'Ohana Athletics' official Top Dog, Chief Comforter, and Hijinx Coordinator. He is always willing to play, give and receive hugs, and you can always count on him to bring a smile to your face!
