What Michelle takes the greatest pleasure in as a coach is helping her athletes to grow and mature not just as an athlete, but also as empowered, kind, respectful, and hardworking leaders in their community. She has two children, both Brookfield Central HS graduates (2014 and 2019), and two grandchildren. As a cancer survivor, family is what matters most to Michelle. When she is not coaching or with her ‘ohana, she loves being outdoors on Lake Michigan as it reminds her of her childhood home in Hawai’i.

Coach Alex has been in the cheer industry for over the past 17 years. Starting as a middle school cheerleader, she quickly realized cheer was her passion. By the end of middle school, she was competing for Heat Athletics all star and making Hamilton High School Varsity Cheer as a freshman. Through HHS, she was a part of the first team to compete at NHSCC, and by senior year was named captain and accomplished a top 10 finish in the Medium Varsity D1division. She was also one of the original members of Heat Athletics first Worlds team, Firestorm, and accomplished being part of the first team in the state of Wisconsin to make it to finals at The Cheerleading Worlds.
The time management skills she acquired through cheer and love of Math led her to major in Math Education at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. There she cheered for the Coed team traveling to multiple National Championships with Football and Basketball.
During her freshman year of college she was recruited to UCA staff where she was able to combine her love of teaching and passion in cheerleading. Through UCA, she worked multiple Varsity events as warm up director and judge coordinator as well as achieved “2011 Rookie of the Year,” “2018 Veteran of the Year,” and named a Head Instructor during her 8 years.
Through her experiences, Alex has been able to learn from some of the best coaches at different age groups and skill levels from across the nation. She is excited to be part of the 'Ohana where she loves to help cheerleaders learn important skills and lessons that can help them in cheerleading, academics and life. Although she loves to judge and choreograph teams, she would rather help teams to refine their skills, finding their strengths and weaknesses, and advance elements where possible. She values supporting the cheerleader for their best potential future, and will help find ways for those girls to accomplish their goals. 'Ohana means family and Alex is truly grateful to sees all of the athletes she has worked with as a part of hers.
